Mastodon is a social network that works like twitter,the media is like other social media but its still has slight different from other ones.Its like microblogging just like twitter features and since it creation all the user has been testifying that the network is really good to catch fun with.


In Mastodon  users are allowed to send short messages that is called toots by name,you can send short messages to other users both in a private wall or outside wall and the message will not exceed 500 words that is why i initially called it a short message.When a user wants to post message the person has the option of answering whether it will be for the public or for private,when the user post message in public it will be displayed on a global feeds knows as timeline,and private messages are only showed on the private timeline of the users followers.


Over thousands  of people are members of the site and through this means you can be a participant to the network all you have to do is to exercise patience to read up the following in order to join the popular network Mastodon.It has been compared to twitter but recently twitter denied that they don't have any similarity with the website.

Since the creation of the website in the year 2016,it didn't expand until march and April 2017 when it started making wave globally.You can get connected from any side of the world and the network is more of exchanging short message's known as toots.
